Sunshine!

We woke up to a lovely sunny morning and it lasted all day, occasionally with a cool breeze.
Sabrina, John and the girls are in hot sunny Spain and have another week to go. I got these photos sent on messenger today. They’re having such a lovely time. We had FaceTime this morning and it was lovely to speak to them.

After breakfast I decided to create a space for Tonya to paint in the Grandkid’s room. I put both Doll’s Houses in the eaves storage, then cleaned the room and gave her the old decorating sheets to put on the surface and carpet.
She had looked a bit upset earlier and said she was homesick. I her a hig and said to her it was no wonder and it was OK to feel sad. 
I asked if she would like to repot some young plants for their room. She was happy again! She said she’d had lots of plants in their flat in Ukraine.
She also got their washing done and hung out and Yurii vacuumed upstairs.
After tea tonight we had a bit of a sing song. Tonya is Beatles mad and she and Frank sung Hey Jude together. She plays guitar well and has a lovely voice. She also sang a Ukrainian folk song for us.
She has already started painting a picture.
Frank took Bella May for a pint this afternoon. I was surprised to see him home after only 15 mins. A dog had bitten Bella’s ear! She’s been a bit subdued since.
