Mono Monday: Juxtaposition

As I was walking Flora this morning I saw a solitary rower on the river and here she is. Thanks to Mole for hosting MM. The tide is very low so the boat is juxtaposed against the  bank of green slime which is revealed when the level sinks.

It's a lovely morning with a week of summer weather forecast. Because we have had some rain nothing is as parched as it is in other parts of the world. The river level is low, though.

My grandson is en route for his Monday here. The paddling pool will be in action I hope. We don't have a hosepipe ban and I will always reuse the small amount of water in the pool.
