A Loop of Harris

A bit wetter today but we decided to do a drive around Harris. The landscape is quite different to Lewis, much more rugged and hilly, in many respects it reminded us a lot of Iceland. The roads here are well maintained although often one lane with passing places. That’s fine with other vehicles but the sheep definitely have not read the signs (see first extra).

This afternoon it was less rainy and we had a walk on the beach at Luskentyre which was lovely (see extra 2).
