Café Society

A PB today as I was in the Toon twice!!  Early then late-ish pm.  On the second visit I sat outside Kirkwall Power Station and called  an Edinburgh Blipper about her pending visit to the County.  I finished the call and stole up St Magnus Lane; I let down my guard  and I was sneaked up on by another EH Blipper.   Well, not so much a Blipper, more of a photographer.  And he was accompanied by Miss Blip and his two gag writers.  Tom and Alex threw away the script after one minute, Tom even said he’d adlibber for lunch.  Without gravy and onions apparently.  We’d already ordered a pot of tea for three so it was a deja – brew.  Charlie’s is a Kirkwall institution.  Nearly in the literal sense.   Tom is still in the café – he’d chosen the all-day breakfast.       
 
Back at HQ there were many midges.
