By the canal

This evening we took Arnold back home. On the way back we decided to take the three dogs for a walk by the canal. We were aiming for Wormleighton reservoir which is near the canal but when we parked up and set off on the footpath it involved going over a railway line and phoning to ask permission so we drove on until we came to a bridge over the canal and walked by there. Turns out we had walked that part of the canal before but still a nice walk. We saw a green woodpecker and a few swans. Then B and I had an Indian takeaway. Now it’s just me and Sid and Pierce. Sid is laying next to me as I’m sitting on the sofa with his head on my lap. He looks very comfortable but soon we will have to move as it is bedtime!
