Monday: Ukrainian Opening Hours

This is one of two photos I took today.  The other was of us out with some of the family.  Everyone looks great apart from K who was wearing sunglasses indoors and just generally looked a bit like a gangster.

We had intended to use to today to get ourselves a bit more sorted and make lists to ensure we do everything that we need to do while we are here.  It didn’t quite work out that way.  

Cousin J and S were supposed to be heading back down to Stroud today but their car displayed an engine fault just after they left so they had to return.  They’ll now be heading back tomorrow with a recovery vehicle.  

We were actually all quite content that we got to spend another day together.  Along with my auntie, we walked into Whitley Bay for drinks and a nice meal.  It was nice to see the bar showing their support for Ukraine.
