Sunday: London Beer Factory

So, after nearly a week in Newcastle, and just under two weeks in the UK, it’s time to start the journey home.  We left Newcastle mid-morning and flew down to London. It was sad saying goodbye to family but hopefully we will be back before too long.

There weren’t that many options in terms of flights so getting an earlier flight meant we were able to have the afternoon in London.  We made the most of it and met up with Andrew at the London Beer Factory on the Bermondsey Beer Mile.  It was really nice to have a few decent pints - one thing I’ve found since being away is that I now struggle with some of the typical English beers, particularly cask ales……..my tastes seem to have changed.

After a great few hours catching up, K and I headed into Chinatown for dinner.  We’re enjoying the buzz of London.
