Happy Places

This is one of my happy places just after daybreak when the sun is rising over Haddington in the distance and Sue and I are in full dook with not a care in the world - but only while we are submerged.

I was home and showered in time for a coffee at Söderberg  before walking into town to visit my niece manning her stall at St John’s craft fare. By that time my ankle was protesting at being overworked  and so I took it home by bus to give it a rest.

While I was out in the afternoon having a walk round the chaos that defines my  area during the fringe, I saw this in the extraodd parade of people making their way to the circus tent from George Square. I don’t know if they are part of an act or just a side show but they were giving it laldy,  as we say here.

The sun is out and I am on the patio watching the world pass by on the other side of the railings. I suppose this is another happy place.
