Eats  Listens, shoots and leaves

Back blip from visiting the exhibition of photos of the naves of all 42 anglican cathedrals, hosted in the chapter house. I liked the the organic look of Wells Cathedral shown in the extras.

You can see the carved seating places used by each prebendary member in the past for meetings around the edge.

Family / Wellbeing
Our son's exam appeal (failing by 1 mark) wasn't successful, so he's thinking through his future direction. We're all adjusting to his disappointment etc.

It sounds like 13 others are in the same position. I agree to having standards, however I do think it's been  a particularly  difficult few years for those approaching late teens (+ my health issues over the last 3 years for him).

I'm partly uplifted by a productive day, and news that his bassoon has now sold after the best part of a year in the shop (Howarth's) in London.

Covid - Negative 
Under the weather for a few days, so did a test which was negative. It's quite probably due in large part to feeling unsettled about our son.
