Growth
Hedge saplings all doing well; some better than others - Hornbeam in the foreground I think. Extra is a back blip from our weekly Collies Working Party on Monday - some long grass clearance along the back hedge and some hedge trimming, as well as the regular ground elder weeding in the affected area.
I tend to act as the bio-diversity champion, so asked for the arisings (aka grass cuttings) to be left until today (Wed) to allow any insects to escape.
The King
TK was allowed home today (Wed) but still with with lines attached so that his parents could better administer his cocktail of drugs. He'll probably need to return to hospital soon though as the side effects of his second round of chemo start to kick in.
A community nurse is visiting Friday (today as I write) so that's reassuring.
