Blue Cross Sale

This is where my human works and she's spent most of her shift today putting 'blue crosses' on items ready for the 'Blue Cross Sale' which starts tomorrow and runs until Saturday. A ' Blue Cross Sale' is where one gets an additional 20% off any sale goods. And as those of you who follow my human on FB will know; she spends most of her wages on clothes from 'Wilkies'.


Today I was expecting her home just after 2pm but she didn't come home until almost 3pm and by then I was lying by my dog gate in the kitchen waiting for her, because she'd been so busy putting blue crosses on stuff, that she hadn't gone out to do the banking.
At 2pm, when her shift ended, she tried on loads of clothes. Fortunately a lot of them made her look fat. Maybe that's because she is fat?!! So she didn't buy them. And then she said she'd go and do the banking anyway because everyone else was really busy and it was about 24C so she knew she wouldn't be taking me on a big long walk. In fact when she eventually got home at 3pm, I only got taken onto the grass behind our flats so that I could have a wee. Obviously now it's cooler I've had a longer walk.


My human gets a great discount on clothes because she works at 'Wilkies', but do you know what?....................... The discount that one gets on a 'Blue Cross Sale' is way better than a 'staff discount. Today she bought £143.95 worth of clothes for £69.64. That's a saving of £74.31.


And I know BLIP isn't an advertising platform so we're hoping this BLIP doesn't get deleted, but BLIP is a diary of our life and that's what's been happening today.


Anyway, if any of you Blippers are in Edinburgh over the next four days; pop into 'Wilkies' as there's some great bargains to be had. My human is working 1-5 on Thurs and 11-3 on Sat. but if you can't make it those days; her colleagues are lovely.
