Picnic at the Ferry

A queer day today, very blustery with showers. Mike and I went out looking for a gazebo for when we go away next weekend we never found one though. Called in to see dad, he was surprised to see us. Had a nice chat and a brew and came away with a few plants, he's doing ok.

Stopped at the Tap for a drink on the way home, it's right next to the River Mersey and you can see the airport and the planes taking off from here. Spotted this couple enjoying a picnic in the sun.
