Plums!

Bit early for them, by about a week I think.  But we got a whole lot of them and a good haul of raspberries (tried, just to make sure they were up to standard).  Eldest worked very hard collecting fruit, youngest held the punnet / bag and claimed to be the trailer for the combine harvesters. 

Off to Granny this afternoon, which a trip to the shoe shop for new school shoes. I can't quite believe the size of the eldest's feet these days and am now faced with him needing new trainers etc... 

Made the sun hat for the eldest yesterday, a second try (without 'help' which turned into bored children) would be a better effort, but he is very happy with it!
