A bits and pieces kind of a day but nothing really blip-worthy so it’s another element of my latest flowers: a rose lily, no stamens but still scented and very pretty.

I was up relatively early with the plan to run but Bailey’s need for a walk before it got too warm was communicated. It was a bit warm but I braved the hill I’ve been avoiding so was quite pleased with myself. Home to do a bit of work before a visit from a friend and ex-colleague. And then a supermarket trip. Bailey has been moving around various locations to toast and keep cool in equal measure. His last walk was quite late by the time it was cool enough. There will be a few more days like this yet.
