Monday - Gairloch

Well it certainly wasn’t wall to wall sunshine here on Monday! We lit the log burner , had breakfast, played Cluedo, had lunch then ventured out to Gairloch to the store and then to the Gairloch Museum.

It’s pretty new museum and it’s all about life in days gone by for here and the surrounding areas. It was so well set out and really interesting. They even had a life size crofters cottage constructed inside, complete with fire and everything else inside for living in, and a dried heather roof. They even had to reinforce the floor to accommodate it. We were there for a good hour and a half so it was very worthwhile.

Made tea then we watched a film, Clifford the big red dog which was hilarious.

I tried to avoid looking a sun pics from elsewhere in Scotland LOL! Actually I don’t care I’m with my favourite people on holiday in a lovely house and that’s worth everything.
