Double exposure
My first attempt at a double exposure cyanotype print. For the first exposure I placed an inverted bowl on the paper and exposed it in the sun for ten minutes assuming I'd get an unexposed circle. In practice the bowl threw a shadow to one side which was sufficient to create this egg shape. For the second exposure I added some cotoneaster leaves, soap bubbles and sprayed with white vinegar and covered with my glass sheet. The second exposure lasted about fifty minutes. I am quite pleased with the outcome. Further attempts were abandoned because of the oppressive heat - the vegetation I placed under the glass started to cook!
