Hot walk
Today was HOT. And so Archie and I went out early. We took the bus down to the Royal Mile to see what was going on. But actually, there wasn’t much - we were too early, all the performers from last night probably weren’t up that early.
There were plenty of ordinary punters, though. In fact the place was mobbed. All good. We met these young ladies who were doing a children’s puppet show.
But we didn’t stay long - we took the bus back to the Meadows, and then walked home, as it was shady all the way, and we needed the shade!
JR, having been to the gym, then went into town to pick up some things at Boots. Archie and I repaired to the back garden, where I read my book and stayed in the shade. Archie just stayed in the shade.
Watching a fascinating programme on the South Pacific Islands as we speak.
Big day tomorrow!
