Whitebait!

An at-home day til mid afternoon when it was just so hot that we needed a swim. Lots of swims! We met friends at the beach and were there til sunset (popping home to bring dinner down there). All afternoon we had seen the mackerel jumping, chasing the whitebait nearer and nearer to the beach. At dusk the water was suddenly alive with movement as the whitebait were chased to the shore. Everyone rushed to try to throw them back in....blip a little girl and her dad just two of the many joining us on the shoreline. It was amazing to see!
