Beach

Started the day with BP then home to pack a picnic and the car. OH had regular osteopathic appointment and quick visit to MIL to sort of the blood pressure machine.

Short cut that turned into a long cut to get to the beach but it was bliss when we got there. The tide was going out so we swam first then spent the afternoon reading and enjoying listening to the waves. Another long cut on the way home but listened to a podcast in the Dictators series - this time Stalin - fascinating stuff. Quick omelette and watered the tomatoes, dahlias - everything else is now starting to die from lack of water. Early autumn colours on the way I’m sure!
