Trail running in paradise

Since this is a running holiday, we got out for a glorious run today!

This run was recommended in a couple of trail running books and I can see why. A sandy start through some dunes which soon opened out into the most majestic view of the Snowdon mountain range, then onto Newborough beach for a good bit of seaside running. Over onto Llanddwyn Island for the most beautiful view over the Llyn Peninsula and clear blue sea below. I couldn't quite believe that this is the UK, I'm not sure I've ever see it looking so incredible!

Back through a lovely forest to end a nice 10 miler. Hot and sweaty enough to spend the rest of the evening on the beach and having little dips in the beautiful sea. Anglesey is totally wonderful.

Fish and Chips and a pint of beer to end the day. Perfection.
