Old Man of the Mountain

… the mountain being the Grand Muveran (summit 3,051m with the old lady of the mountain in extra) which often features in my journal. A herd of about 20 male bouquetin were well above the Rambert hut and this one was near an old path to the hut when I came down from the top. I would have liked to stay up in the hut tonight as it will be full moon but covid is rampant here again and the hut was almost at capacity. 8 hours on my feet today, I doubt I shall be up for long!
