One of those days!

My early night started well but that all changed when a house alarm sounded at about 2am, and continued doing so every 20 minutes or so until just after 4am. Peace returned until someone let out howling dogs that continued to howl for at least an hour.

Arnie was ready to leave for golf just before 6 but despite being quiet in his preparation, his alarm woke me at 05:45, much to his surprise as well as my frustration.

The planned 18 holes ended in 9 because of severe discomfort in his neck that resulted in a physio appointment this afternoon.

Given that it hadn’t been the best day for either of us, takeaway pizzas were ordered and delivered according to schedule.

Just a pity the delivery guy kept them at such an angle the toppings slid to just one corner. We did our best to rearrange them, and they still tasted pretty good.

It’s a full moon tonight. Hopefully it will pass without any further incident.
