Half a ride is still a ride

The Brodick castle, garden and park would not open until half past ten. We didn't see ourselves waiting until so late and decided to cycle around the island. Then, after we had visited the castle, we would cycle on to Lochranza to spend the night at another campsite. Yes, I was planning to give it another chance despite all the swollen itching bumps.

However, not everything turned out as planned. We bravely beat the first big hill across the island, but the road back to Brodick via the southern coast road was too hilly. It took us so long that we had only time left to visit the castle and garden, but not to go to the campsite in Lochranza.
Luckily we saw that a hotel in Brodick had rooms available. We could leave our gear there before we visited the castle.
