View from the top field

Another very hot day, the temperature reached 37 C on the tarmac outside the house this afternoon after the breeze had dropped.  Extra photo:  farm traffic.

Did chores inside the house this morning and then later E came for a cuppa and we listened to a zoomed WEA lecture on the animals used in WWI and II, focussing on the cat from the Somme.

Babysat for my grandson this evening while T and K took I to Wind in the Willows which was being enacted outside  in a large garden near here.  She enjoyed it very much.
