Night Glow

We headed into Bristol with a view to watching the first mass ascent from Bristol Balloon Fiesta in two years. We stopped off at friends up on the Bedminster Downs and after a glass or two we headed up to the edge overlooking Ashton Court Park.

Alas, the evening was warm and still, but the chief ballon weather witch declared turbulent winds at 500m and called off the ascent. We retired back to the house for tea and then turned out for the night glow. I think this is quite a decent shot for the ISO 12800.
