Chester

A long drive up the motorways to Chester. Well, it's been longer on other days but four hours found us at the Mill Hotel and Spa. 

We're here for the wedding of Phil and Phil's eldest, Chelsea, to Ollie tomorrow. Some of you will recall Phil isn't with us any longer, so a poignant ceremony no doubt.

Our room had most certainly been smoked in quite recently, but a phone call to reception sorted that out, and in fact we got upgraded to a sizeable suite - which was nice. 

A short walk along the Shropshire Union Canal and a longer swim, steam and sauna in the Spa, before a lovely pub meal and z's, ready for tomorrow.
