Samba on the beach

Didn’t feel like doing much today (so glad I have the full week off work) but my cuppa in the garden was interrupted by the sound of Samba drums!

Not every day you see a Samba band on the beach. Onlookers were treated to a full performance. They are here for the ‘Battle of Flowers’ parade (more on that tomorrow).

Went to see an Indian film this evening, it was excellent, rich with emotion and brilliantly acted. Laal Singh Chaddah.
