Hour Glass With Wings

Thanks for the kindness shown to yesterday’s purple fur ball.

No shadow. No counting of sunny hours. No sun. Eh, no problem.

The CT angiography went okay this morning. Since it’s 12 hours later, I suppose I would have heard if I had a PE. ✓

In other news…I guilted someone into driving me to the heart cath next week. I never asked for a ride outright. I started to go on and on about how no one reaches out to me unless they want something. And I’m always happy to help, because that’s who I am.

Her first response was to ask what will make it better? This time, I told her, a sandwich or ice cream (which is how she tries to fix me) won’t cut it. She told me she would take me but she had plans to get together with friends that day. Continuing my guilt trip (because she’s one to call only when she needs something and knows it), she finally caved.

Seriously, I help people without asking anything in return because that really is who I am. It always surprises me when others don’t do the same.
