Too hot for some

When we arrived at our favourite Thai restaurant there wasn’t a soul there. It is usually packed out on Friday lunchtimes with people from nearby offices. The waitress said it would pick up with the 1o’clock rush and sure enough, it did get a bit busier. Quite a few people sat outside in the hot sun, but we preferred to be inside where it was cooler. I enjoyed that quintessential summer drink, a Pimms - extra.
