Bribery

This is my neighbour’s dog Hugo. They went to Chester and thought that it would be too hot for Hugo so I was asked to let him into the garden during the day.

I went in the house and tried to get him to go outside but he refused, he just wanted a tummy tickle. I went home and returned an hour later. He still refused to go out so I bribed him with a .Boneo biscuit. He wouldn’t stay out long but at least he could lie in the shade and get some fresh air for a few minutes.

It’s been uncomfortably hot today. Bowling was cancelled due to the heat, a sensible decision.
