Sunshine and showers

It has been a brilliant day as my friends Julia, Lou, Emma and Debbie came down from Ipswich to visit me for the day. I met them at the station and we then walked down through the city to the river. The sun was shining as we crossed the bridge to look around Borough Market but the crowds were really busy so we decided to retreat to the Brew Wharf. As we enjoyed Pimms and pints the sunshine turned to rain and hail and then back to sunshine. We carried on along the South Bank to look around the market behind the Royal Festival Hall. We had been searching for Churros with chocolate sauce and found the stall and they were amazing.

We then sat over looking the river enjoying more Pimms. The Vouge Festival was on so we had prime seats for watching all the fashionistas walking past in their very unique outfits. It was such a laugh that a couple of hours past until the weather was so cold we had to move. We then had a lovely dinner at Ping Pong before heading back to the station to get the train home.
