<3 Bagpuss!
On the hottest day of the year (so far?), we enjoyed the gentlest of strolls around Canterbury, seeking shade and air-con. As part of that, we went to The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge where they have an exhibition celebrating the work of Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate, including the Clangers and Bagpuss - two of my childhood favourites. It's still weird to see them in colour as, to me, they are black and white!
We also loved the cool, peace, and history of Eastbridge, the Hospital of St Thomas the Martyr and Greyfriars Chapel. Who needs an expensive Cathedral, anyway?
