Off to the Pool first thing and seeing as it was so nice we headed up to the Neil Gunn monument.Beautiful views and very peaceful. A Red Kite flew overhead, there always seems to be a few up here.Saw a magpie on the way, the first we have seen up here, hoping it’s just the one !
Onto the old station at Strathpeffer where we had a tasty breakfast.We watched a lady sitting on one of the benches opposite painting the view.
Onto Loch Kinellan where I had to watch where I walked as there were hundreds of baby frogs some huddled together in a bundle.
Some marsh orchids have started to bloom as well as lots of ragged Robin.
