Courgettes

Oh dear, the courgette and green bean plants at midday today. Looking very sad. They perk up again once the sun goes round but it’s a very sad sight at the moment!

Nipped out to the tile shop for another sample for the bathroom, and then called in at the flooring shop to arrange for measuring up this Friday morning. The plumber couldn’t come yesterday because he had to deal with a water leak in someone’s roof - fair enough - but he’ll be back on Monday.

Then I spent the day mostly indoors in the relative cool, chatting to family, watching last night’s Gardeners World, and doing a jigsaw. The day passed. After it was dark, I went and lay in the cool garden to watch for meteors again, and was rewarded with one huge one!
