Coming Home Victorious

The men headed off to play golf first thing and after breakfast Mrs W and I were joined by our friend A and the lovely fellow blipper WinchWench.

We went to Burnby Hall Gardens as we decided it would be a nice for a walk, a few photographs, lunch and an ice cream. I had forgotten that the waterlilies would still be out and looking beautiful in the sunshine. It was lovely, albeit rather warm and not too busy considering the Railway Institute’s brass band was playing this afternoon.

It was so good to see everyone and the icing on the cake was the men coming home from their golf match victorious.
