Sniggering Smugly To Himself…

A slightly later dog walk this evening or is it that it’s getting darker earlier? Either way it was dark and we had only had a smattering of rain…but it seemed enough to bring out the local wildlife.

Dylan was bemused by all the toads on the road (which we carefully moved onto the verge to avoid them being flattened) ..five in total and the hedgehog that just stood it’s ground snuffling at him, until we turned away and then it run off surprisingly fast.

The final straw was when Grumpy Cat Paddy jumped out of the bushes as we walked past giving poor Dylan the fright of his life..I am sure I saw Paddy smugly sniggering to himself about it!!
