Feeding an extra cat

For some reason I found today’s 35c a bit worse.  I don’t know whether it was more humid - certainly my phone tells me air pollution is pretty bad - into the orange/red on the warning system:-(
Some of the day spent watering at my allotment, also in the garden. Doing it very carefully with our wasting any. Enjoyed doing a new jigsaw for a while, as sitting still indoors seemed like a good idea.  In the late afternoon I walked down to the other end of my road, to feed a lovely cat I’m looking after for 5 days.  These red hot pokers are nearby, they look how I felt!
