Abi and Temple Of Hephaistos
We’d originally thought we’d spend the day in Athens, but our increasing familiarity with the midday heat led to a change of plan. In the end we had a morning swim, gave the girls an hour to pack, and set off at midday.
We parked up in the middle of Athens, a stone’s throw from the Acropolis, and were amazed - after a good look ‘round for notices - to find the parking was free! And from there we found a little café for lunch before the Minx and miniMinx went shopping, and Abi and I had a stroll around what I think is called the Agora: it’s the area below the Acropolis, anyway.
We had a good mooch around the museum and then walked up to the Temple Of Hephaistos, which you can see featured in the photo of Abi. Regrettably, I failed to do the joke justice because I couldn’t see my screen very clearly.
