Blackberries.

Decided on an early walk and pick some blackberries on the way, just in case the rain arrived early.First I have picked this year.
As usual got stung and prickled. Why is it the best berries are always out of reach, or in difficult places.
Anyhow managed to get two containers full.
The thistledown was flying everywhere, and I came across a flock of goldfinches enjoy a feed.
Flew off as soon as they spied me coming along.

Back home and did some dead heading. Sat outside at lunchtime.
Transferred August photos onto the laptop.
Did some shredding. Now in the green bin.
Still waiting for the thunderstorms. So far we have had about a dozen spots!
Very warm and muggy. We need a storm to clear the air.
