Snipe #74 & Green Sandpiper #75

Oh what a delight it was to go walking in the cooler air this morning, and we got some spots of rain to cool us even further. Hurrah!
We went to WWT Martin Mere and had a lovely few hours. 
The highlights were a handful of distant green sandpipers, a single ruff, one snipe, and two cattle egrets - one of which you can see in extras. Plenty of other birds to see as well as the 12 Inca Terns and 3 Spoonbills in the collection. 

We had a good lunch at the nearby Farmers Arms and then arrived home to watch the speed climbing and cycling at the European Games.  A good day.
