View towards North Wales

Today my brother and sister in law came for lunch en route to visit their daughter and family in North Wales. Later on we went for a walk over the common. It is very dry and looking rather more autumnal than it should. This morning we had light rain for about an hour. Not much but better than nothing! Tomorrow we’re travelling down to Glastonbury as it’s my mother in law’s funeral on Wednesday. She died two days before we went to visit our daughter and family in New Zealand. She was 95 and had dementia for ten years and she’d had enough but it’s still very sad and definitely the end of an era.
