Wise old owl

The wooden owl in London Road Gardens looked a little damp, but appreciative of the freshening up.

We seemed to escape most of the lightning storms. Quite a bit of thunder rumbling around last night but I didn’t really see any lightening. The rain has just continued in a sort of misty drizzle most of the day, which is quite nice really and dampens things down without causing puddles and flooding. 

Rather depressing now though - only 8.15 and it’s nearly dark!
