Putting the clock back

No, it’s not back to GMT and winter quite yet, but I saw that the beloved clock from the top of Leith Walk which has been in storage for years during tram works, was being put back up this afternoon.  At that point it was still in two bits with the actual clock on the back of a lorry, but the pole was up. When I left the office tonight it seemed to be all back in place, all bright and shiny. Next step will setting it and putting it to the correct time I hope.
Slow signs of the interminable tram works being tidied up and getting closer to being finished.

Wonder if we’ll get the lovely bronze pigeons back soon.
