Nectar

So finally it rained. Not the thumping it down rain that some people have had recently, but rain all the same. It was humid for much of the day, too, but now it actually feels quite cool and fresh outside.

Meanwhile, I concentrated on getting household chores and a bit more sorting and tidying done as I am  hoping I will be able to get out more now that lower temperatures are forecast.

This little animal was also hard at work this evening, tucking into the lavender. I watched for a little while as he purposefully made his way from flower to flower. There is much to appreciate if you take the time to look.
