What a day

We started the day with breakfast out then Alan dropped me off at the cafe snd then took Rona to the station as she was homeward bound today.
On the way home at 3ish the heavens opened . The gutters were overflowing so badly that Alan got up a ladder to see why snd discovered the diverter to the Waterbutt was blocked . It was raining so heavily he couldn’t put the pipe back in and was thoroughly soaked when he got back indoors . We then went to sainsbury for some dinner and the road was so badly flooded we had to wade through it to get to the high street. Within half an hour it was all gone and you wouldn’t have known it was that bad!!!
