They're about to start building a whole new neighborhood here.  I'm glad.  It's been a blown out nothingness the whole time we've been here, defunct big box stores with gigantic parking lots, only a Denny's and a CVS clinging on.  It'll be turned into something quite different, homes (some of them affordable, whatever that means), gardens, stores, recreation center.  Looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

5:45 a.m., sitting having my coffee with Naboo, the patio doors open, when the wind picked up and the wind chimes chimed.  There was a sound, it was still dark, we both peered out, what is that?  Is that... RAIN?  For the briefest moment, just a few minutes, there was some rain, the first I've seen since February.  Wow it was nice to smell that air even for a moment.  Clouds stuck around all day, 79ºF, it was nice to have a change.
