Packed up and then walked with D down to City cafe for excellent bacon and mushroom rolls. Got to the station early and got chatting to a couple who were getting on the same train as me and who used to live just a couple of streets away from where I live now. Waverley was very busy , and so was the train, though there was the odd unoccupied seat. Easily found places for my case and packed up art that I bought from Pittenweem. The journey went well until York when we were kept waiting for 25 mins due to no train manager.
Ju met me at Newark- she was waiting right outside the door! Called in at the farm shop on the way to her house, had a cup of tea and got home about 6ish. All is well, including virtually all the outside plants and all the inside ones which I had put in the bath on a wet towel. Will sort them all out tomorrow!
