Woody Thursday (18th August 2022)

Today was not only the day Refna came to work on the Woodland Garden, it was also Full Fibre day, when BT Open Reach came to install my new broadband and phone service. The engineer, Albert (see Extra), arrived 0830 hour for work that was supposed to typically take about an hour, but was still here until eleven by which time Refna and I had done an hour of gardening and were sitting down for a further hour of chat over a cup of Earl Grey. She said that many other gardens that she does are in a worse state than mine after the drout.

He had left then, temporarily, to go up to the exchange and sort something out but was back and forth after that until 1640 hr, so it was lucky I didn't have to go out. Broadband and wi-fi were restored by 1600 hr and seem to be fine, but the phones won't be active until tomorrow.
