Or at least I think it is. It's a herb that's grown very strong and leggy, especially in the heat. Its leaves looked rather like fennel.

A quiet day today. Len had to go to London for a scan. He caught the train but there were no trains back so the company paid for a taxi for him.

Basil and I went to buy a double bed at Newbolds in Shepshed. I hope the kids like it. It will have a memory foam mattress and an expensive head board.

Napped in the conservatory in the afternoon, then finished an article on my trip to Iceland for RPS Travel Group.  Travel Group committee meeting in the evening.

Why do committee meetings go on for so long despite all the papers being distributed beforehand?
