WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

She’s waiting at the door for Yurii.
I’ve had a real chill out day today and not done very much, it did me the world of good after last 3 busy days.
It was raining in the night but mostly dry today.
After Anna and the kids left yesterday I was thinking about our family and how diverse we all are. So this is yesterday’s poem now finished.

Diversity

Some families are as diverse
as an untended garden.
There are the flowers
that just quietly grow,
those that struggle
simply to survive,
those that burst into blossom
no matter the weather
some that go rogue,
rampaging all over others
and then the ones who feel
they just don’t belong and
scatter their seeds to the wind
hoping to thrive where they land.
Then there are the formal gardens
children so neat and orderly
as Begonias and French Marigolds.
But even those gardens
can be blighted, flowers may wither
and pests may attack the weak
Look after your gardens.

I got a bit peed off when I received a message today. Not sure how to deal with it yet.

Goodnight Blip friends :-) X
